Simple, straightforward and worth it. Our core Sunday Note will remain free as it has been since 2018. We have done Substack lives and will continue to expand there, eventually turning bonus content into paid content.
This also gives us the chance to commission and pay outside contributors and editors (and, maybe, one day, take home a little something for ourselves).
You get to support work you like (or even dislike — I know some of you disagree strongly with my positions!), and you keep us going.
